I came to directing through advertising and marketing.

After 8 years working in agencies, I founded a production company in 2019 then spent the next 5 years building it into a team of 8, opening a 4,000 sq ft studio and winning multiple awards - before exiting in 2024.

That experience now shapes how I work as a freelance director.

I understand the creative thinking behind a brief, the realities of production and the pressures of delivering great work within a budget.

So while I care about the shot, the performance and the story, I also understand what it takes to get the whole thing made.

I like punchy ideas, strong performances and films that feel considered without feeling overworked.

I own an Arri Alexa Mini LF cinema camera and have a geek-like knowledge of lenses. Coupled with my obsession to understand new technology, I’m well versed in developing solutions that work to budgets of all shapes and sizes.
